The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) will sponsor an Expert Meeting on Free and Open Source Software in Geneva from 22 to 24 September 2004. The meeting, convened in accordance with the decision taken by the Commission on Enterprise, Business Facilitation, and Development at its eighth session, will will open at the Palais des Nations, Geneva, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, 22 September 2004. Re: Outcome? The website has a list of attendees. Richard Stallman was the only name I recognised but it didn't really look representative of people who work in free software. Lots of third world country delegates and a few microsoft etc people. BozMo --
