[»] Very nice!
by djresonance - Sep 5th 2002 01:40:02

This theme looks great. My only gripe (and the thing preventing me from using it) is that the minimize/maximize/close icons are in an unintuitive order. Years of using windows has taught me to expect minimize, maximize, and close from left to right. Would it be possible to add an option dialog ala the sawfish crux theme to choose the default button behaviour?

I understand your pain on this, there are a fair few users who feel this way about my style of theme design. I like to keep the close seperate & add a raise/lower button (Amiga junky). I may add this style of border as an extra but it won't make default.

Yeah, that's what I meant, someone has made an R-9X gkrellm skin and posted it to the gkrellm repository ;) It may require a bit of trawling but I know there is one as I am using it! :D (special thanks to Gef for that skin!)

OJ is on the way, expect to see it soon :)

It's called smooth and is part of the lfp project. You can get the entire font collection from http://dreamer.nitro.dk/linux/lfp/ ;)

This is a possibility, the version I have been useing atm is just a basic recolour of the Orange Juice XMMS skin. No point in submitting this ;) It is however in progress.

I have had x2 HD failiures recently, i have lost alot of gfx work. It will be some time before i get round to re-building everything (if that even happens). If some one wants to create the xmms skin they are more than welcome :)

[»] very well done theme
by marlaque - May 27th 2002 03:46:12

This is perhaps the cleanest theme I've seen in quite a while. The window adormnents are are very classy, well defined, sleek and crisp. The icon box, menu pulldowns, dragbar etc... are unobtrusive. Good choice in fonts and colors. All in all I'd say this is a very nice, "transparent" theme for setting up professional quality workstations or home systems.

Good job!
