About:
gnome-yum is a graphical program which makes it easier to use and setup the YUM install program. It displays the packages available on the package service sites with filtering. The settings for package services may be managed. The cache used by YUM can be managed to free up disk space, manually install, and transfer downloaded packages. Detailed information is displayed regarding the installed packages or package files. The files in the packages can be displayed with a program chosen by the user.

If your a Linux newbie like me this is a program to use...makes using yum alot eaiser! A very well done program.
