Screenshot About:
dbMan is a complex SQL monitor for common database systems (PgSQL, Oracle, MySQL etc.). It's based on Perl and DBI interfaces. Features include a command history buffer, tab completion, editing Oracle objects, simultaneous connections, SQL help, importing and exporting of tables, Oracle explain plan, and more. dbMan is made as a simple kernel and many extension modules, and you can make your modules with a simple HOWTO.

[»] One change in license
by Milan Sorm - Jan 11th 2003 13:19:35

Because people mail me many answers about license appendix, I change it to next:

But you can't use dbMan in military sector (army, NATO etc.) and you shouldn't use dbMan if you agree with current government of U.S.A., United Kingdom, Germany or Israel (due to their militaristic ideas).

[»] News in license
by Milan Sorm - Jan 3rd 2003 14:52:04

I inform all that I include new sentence to LICENSE file:

But I don't wish dbMan's using in military sector (army, NATO etc.). You can't use dbMan if you are from U.S.A., Germany or Israel (due to their militaristic government).

    These licence information is obsolete.

[»] Future plans
by Milan Sorm - Mar 30th 2002 06:17:18

I think now experimental branch of dbMan can make same things as old stable branch and much more. I prepare 0.17 version with minor bugfixes and minor features tomorrow, 0.18 with documentation in next week and last experimental 0.19 version in next two weeks (making code more stable). 0.20 will be new stable version with web page, RPM variant etc. Since 0.21 I will work on new GUI (Tk/Gtk/Qt) etc.
