About:
mkscreens.sh is a small wrapper script around
MPlayer and ImageMagick to generate collated
thumbnails (a.k.a. "screens") from video streams,
similar to the feature found in Media Player
Classic. It tries to fit the maximum number of
thumbnails of a given pixel width into predefined
compound image dimensions. It can handle every
seekable video stream that MPlayer can handle
(AVI, MPEG, MKV, etc.), including DVD images, in
which case it processes the longest title.
