[»] I prefered the older version
by Rentar - May 27th 2002 16:46:29

Hy,

great themes, 'though I liked the older version more (I think it
was 0.9). It was great. I think the lack of Title text was a
feature and not a bug. I know what programm it is, i don't need
it written on the window (and I can easily identify the main
window and the equalizer without the textual hint). Please
remove the Title! (I don't like the font as well, but that's
another story). I liked the theme for it's simplicity and lack of
text (xmms is about music/sound, not text after all ;-). I hope
this comment helps...

I am kinda sorry that you feel this way about this skin. I have also given some time to think about my reply so as not to offend anyone. The main and sole purpose of the orange juice suite is userfriendlyness, it's a suite that I could happily let my mum use without any complaints or questions as to where is? what is? etc... If you do feel that strongly opposed to it, I will have no trouble in submitting another version without the text ;)

Please don't misunderstand me, the new version is still one of the best xmms-themes out there, I just liked the text-less version better. I wouldn't say no to another "branch" of this theme!

[»] Nice!

Very nice XMMS skin. Very clean and good to use. Although i'd probably prefer a blueish one :)

[»] Nice theme!
by Claes Nästén - May 11th 2002 05:24:03

Hi, just wanted to say that you've understand what skinning xmms is all about. It seems as most people don't, can't figure out why, probably has something to do with the E themeing attidue wich creates themes as ugly as most xmms skins. :/ Anyway, you're skin rocks!! :)
