About:
PHPMailer is an email transport class which features multiple file
attachments, CCs, BCCs, REPLY-TOs, HTML messages, redundant SMTP
servers, and word wrap, among others. It can send email via sendmail,
PHP mail(), or with SMTP. Methods are based on the popular AspEmail
active server component.

Abandoned?
by Waldo Jaquith - Aug 25th 2006 08:19:42
It appears that this project has been abandoned. I'm awfully wary of
using software with such potential for exploit that hasn't been
touched in a year. Here's hoping somebody picks this up -- it's a fine
program.

I never abandoned it but I took, lets say, a long vacation from it.
Anyway, I passed off the project to Andy Prevost to be the project lead.
He looks like he'll do a fine job of keeping PHPMailer as the PHP email
transport leader.
