About:
PHPWebEdit is an applet text editor and file manager. It allows you to manage and edit files without the need for a client side FTP or text editor. The applet has syntax colorizer for most Web scripting languages. At the moment it works best with IE.

It's back now, apologies to Sune, we are using his WebExplorer for the file system layer, but the main feature of the project is the interaction between the Java Syntax Colorizer and the file system layer.
