qt on mac

I hope this comment / question fits here. If not someone point me please
where this belongs.
So this port requires qt ?
Afaik this is library is only free for linux !?
So do I have to buy that library ?
Does anyone succesfully comiled it on macos 10.2 ?
(This editor working on my mac ? A dream comes true !)

Yes, it requires Qt.
It is free when used with a free version of Qt.
It should compile unchanged under MacOS/X.

If someone backport it to QT 2.3, which is also available on Win32
(non-commercial), can it then be used for GPL apps on Windows?
I am interested on an free port to windows since I have developed an
QScintilla based app (CUTE) on linux, which i like to port to win32.

No. The Qt non-commercial license is incompatible with
the GPL.
