Hello! I am the author of Scraper. I am honored that "linux" would add Scraper to freshmeat - I knew nothing about the posting until some of you began emailing me. I fear that "linux" has invited me into a meat-grinder, but . . . here I am.
I should note that the intended audience is not "End Users/Desktop" - someone needs to do a little Perl to make it work.
The latest version is v3.04 (significant improvements over v1.37 listed here). See http://search.cpan.org/author/GLENNWOOD/Scraper-3.04/ for the latest.
For the simplest example of how to use it, see eg/Scraper2std.pl in that distribution. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to tell me about them!
