About:
Xerces2 is the next generation Apache Xerces-J XML parser. This version of Xerces-J defines the Xerces Native Interface (XNI), and provides a complete, standards compliant reference implementation using XNI. The parser was completely re-designed and re-implemented to be simpler and more modular. To help contribute to this project, visit the Apache XML Project web page and join the xerces-j-dev mailing list.

Point to the source not the binary
by Tushar Teredesai - Oct 31st 2002 10:56:59
The download location should point to the src distribution, not the binary
distribution. Or maybe the ftp dir (instead of a specific file).

by Murray Cumming - Sep 20th 2002 06:01:41
Shouldn't you rename this freshmeat project to Xerces-J?
