This theme is based on my Yell-O gtk-theme. I used Shiny Metal from 0.16.devel.4 version of Enlightenment as a template with some modified config files I borrowed from Brushed Metal-Tigert.

That's really abnoxious. doncha know that yellow is the color connected to stress?

Granted, I might not hang a screenshot of this in the Louvre, but it's not without its charm. I certainly would not call it "obnoxious". The yellow is muted and warm (as opposed to some garrish florescent-neon yellow, which probably *would* be obnoxious). Moreover, that certain colors are linked to certain emotional states is a quaint and silly notion; a pseudo-scientific aphorism given weight simply because it is repeated ad nauseam. A cursory glance at our culture will refute this, since we often find conflicting or opposing meanings attached to the same color. "Green" (for example) is the color of avarice, as in "green with envy" or "jealousy: the green-eyed monster" -- both passionate emotions. Yet it is also considered a restful and pastoral color, due to its association with nature. Our reactions to color are largely subjective or cultural. Perhaps you associate yellow with "stress", perhaps someone else thinks of "sunshine" or "warmth". I don't mean to ramble. It's just that the author himself (in a quote elsewhere) almost seemed apologetic for offering this theme. I kinda like it (of course, it *does* compliment my green computer case rather well). ;->
