broken downloads
by karellen - Sep 5th 1999 03:41:43
The main Zope distribution site hasn't got resume on broken
download capability for some unknown reason. I know it
runs Apache and I know Apache can do that. I've been trying to get
Zope for 3 days now and I get a lot of broken downloads.
Are there any ftp/http mirrors for Zope with resume on broken
download capability? Please drop me a mail if you can help.

That's because Apache only proxies for the Zope server running behind it.
Zope prior to version 2.4 indeed doesn't support HTTP Range requests (which
are used download resumes). When we move Zope.org to version 2.4 (working
on that right now) you'll be able to resume downloads from the server.
