About:
Gnu Aqua Special Edition is a theme based on gnububble and bluebubble, with ideas from AquaGraphite and AquaLightBlue. It is meant to replace all of them by concentrating on the strength of some and eliminating the weakness of others.

Release focus: Minor feature enhancements

Changes:
Poorly chosen highlight colors were fixed. Entry backgrounds are now correct. This release has some major cleanup. bg0.png is now used.

I am having difficulty getting the window border to show up like you have it in your examples.

Are you using Sawfish as your window manager? if so, then you can get aquaos2 or aqualightblue. I don't remember which I used to have in the example. You can get any of them from my ftp server ( ftp://ftp.latinomixed.com ) or from Freshmeat.
And if you are using MetaCity, then you can get something that looks like OS X from gnome's theme project site: http://art.gnome.org/ .
