About:
The Realtime Application Interface for Linux
allows applications with strict timing constraints
to be run on Linux. A real time system is able to
guarantee the timing requirements of the processes
under its control. RTAI provides an API and the
necessary kernel modifications to accommodate such
requirements.
Release focus: Major feature enhancements
Changes:
Fusion was updated to the newest ADEOS API.
Support for PPC64 and Freescale's mpc8541 was
added. POSIX conformance was improved. Latency
issues in key components were fixed. The code was
corrected for GCC 4.0.1. Numerous bugfixes were
made.
