About:
tX, formerly Teddy, is a tabular XML editor. It
presents the structure and content of XML files in
a way that is both visually pleasing and easy to
use. Its features include the abiltiy to view XML
in an hierarchical way without extraneous syntax
or interface elements, edit data like a
spreadsheet, enter data without having to worry
about encoding rules, make major structural
changes with minimal effort, cut and paste between
most spreadsheet applications, and export to HTML.
Release focus: Major feature enhancements
Changes:
Text in cells is now allowed to wrap. The display of the hierachy is now flattened so that all elements are indented within a single column. Moreover, the hierarchy is retractable and expandable. There is now an error log interface with the ability to open a problem file in a text editor. Exported HTML now uses CSS. XML text can be cut and pasted while maintaining its structure and format. There is now support for various text encodings. Find and replace were improved.
