About:
Libslack is a library of general utilities designed to make UNIX/C programming a bit easier on the eye. It was originally implemented as part of the daemon program. It's a small library with lots of functionality, is accurately documented and was thoroughly tested. Good library naming conventions are not rigorously observed on the principle that common operations should always be easy to write and code should always be easy to read.
Release focus: Major feature enhancements
Changes:
A security bug involving daemon_file_is_safe() not following symlinks and other some memory bugs have been fixed. Secure memory and memory pools have been added. Enhancements have been made to fgetline to handle any line ending and str_fgetline to handle any line ending and length. Timeouts have been added to net_client/connect. The timeouts in net_expect and net_send have been fixed. Numerous other changes were also included.
