This is a very attractive theme! :)
Just out of curiosity, was the name in any way inspired by Aphex Twin?

Yes it was, though through a rather obscure path. I actually started out
making some backgrounds based on various aphex twin covers (Ambient Works
'85 - '92, and Ambient Works II). They came out quite nicely, and so I
started toying with some basic changes to the e-theme I was using at the
time to make it fit a little better with the backgrounds. Eventually I
found I was creating a new theme, so I called it aphex, to go along with
the backgrounds - as the theme developed though, it went through many many
revisions (it's been well over a year since I started work on this), until
it started to clash with the backgrounds - but the theme was working so
well that I dropped the backgrounds, and continued on with the theme - I
never got around the changing the name though.
So yes, it is derived from Aphex Twin, although all the original elements
that tied it to that have since been dropped. I did create a new
background with a few subtle Aphex Twin hints, and that is included, so
that's as close as it gets these days.
Maybe in a future release I'll have those old backgrounds reworked and
included.

Allt hat matters is the theme is original. Thats it. Its not another one of
badasss's rip off's of someone elses hard work, and that is alllllll that
matters

although i dont like the buttons ( they should not allow movement ... dont
know if enlightenment can do fixed buttons)
also , hope you post the gtk theme on gtk.themes , as the download link to
the gtk theme in your website isnt working ( hehe , nice interesting
website .. )

I'll see what I can do about the buttons - they were fairly early stages
anyway - I was planning on having a decent iconset for them eventually - I
just grabbed what Tigert had in the meantime.
Yeah, sorry about the gtk-themes - they're a bit unfinished, and I
temporarily pulled them from the website. As soon as it's done to my
satisfaction it'll got up on gtk.theme.org
